Questions to ask your teacher..

“Is this a noun or a verb/ an adjective or an adverb?”/ “What kind of word is this?”

“What’s the difference (in meaning/ pronunciation/ spelling) between … and …?”
“Can you repeat that please?”/ “Can you say that one more time please?”
“Can you play the CD one more time?”
“What does _________ stand for?”
“Which syllable/ word is stressed?”
“How many syllables does it have?”
“Sorry I missed the last class (Can you tell me what I missed/ what the homework was/ what I can
do to catch up?)”
